Joseph Collins

My name is Joseph Collins. I am from Monaghan and I study Business ft psychology. I am in my fourth year in Magee. I am 23 years old and in my time I have tried to be involved in as many societies as possible. I am also a member of this year’s general council, which is the most in important decision making body within the union. I will always be there to help.

John Cunningham

I have several aims for 2011/2012, which I would undertake as V.P for academic and student affairs of Magee. One of the biggest issues I would like to take on is the growing threat of increasing course fees. I would also like to campaign for better sports facilities for the many great sports persons amount us. A personal campaign against additional hidden course costs such as excess printing and photocopying. I will have an open door policy for anyone who chooses to use it. I will run a straight and honest campaign and I wish the other candidates the best.

 Johanna Gallagher

Fired with enthusiasm, I’ve rarely miss an event on campus, Christmas Carol Services, the odd Magee soccer matches, stewarding mystery tours, even “Bike to Belarus”. Two years now I’ve held and cherished my position as a Residential Assistant (RA) in Duncreggan Student Village. A passionate member of Magee ladies Gaelic, two years as class rep, and if that’s not enough, I’ve recently been crowned “The Rose of Magee” where (for those that attended) a great show was had. And so, if we haven’t crossed paths yet, I certainly hope to meet you soon. In the meantime……….. I need your vote!

Philip Rabbet

My name is Philip Rabbett and I am currently studying Multimedia, Computing and Design on the Magee Campus. I am running for the position of Vice President Academic and Student Affairs. Having been involved with your Student Union, I will make a positive contribution.

A vote for me will ensure that you are represented by someone with your interests at the core of their work. I will strive to put your view across, to promote your interests and to make your voices heard. This is your student union, your experience and now is the time to have your voices heard.
