Academic problems occur for a great many students each year. Just make sure you know that there is help here for you. If an academic or personal issue arises that may affect your performance, contact your Studies Advisor or your Education and Welfare Officer, who can act on your behalf. It is also important to notify the Education and Welfare Officer about any class problems or problems with facilities and resources. The Students' Union can then bring up issues at the appropriate University Committees or with the relevant members of staff.
If an issue arises that effects other students too, it is advisable to utilise the class representative on your course.
