► Student Council

What is Student Council?

Student Council is the Committee that represents students on all campuses of the University.

All members of the Campus Councils sit on this board, as well as all the full time Officers and representatives from the Sports Clubs and also Societies.

It brings ideas from students across the four campuses and passes these as policies - it ensures that all campuses are working towards common goals.

This body is also responsible for ensuring all the elected officers (paid and voluntary) are carrying out their roles effectively.  It also receives reports on the financial and strategic management of the Students' Union.

It is a very important committee within UUSU and meets at least once per semester.

Meeting reports will be posted here after they have been confirmed by the committee.  The last meeting was held on 14th December, and the next one will happen on 9th February.
