► Coleraine Poetry Society

The Poetry Society aims to promote poetry and creative writing in a fun, friendly and supportive environment. We welcome readers from all backgrounds, from first year undergraduates, to professional guest poets, to lecturers here at the university. Occasional ‘inspiration’ nights are hosted, for those who do not feel comfortable reading their own poetry. Although the Poetry Society aims to encourage creativity, there is no pressure to read; students who are have an interest in poetry are welcome to come along and listen in. Furthermore, students who do perform are encouraged to submit their work to Reflexion, the university’s creative writing annual for staff and students.
