It is student lead, student orientated and student driven. We provide representation, commercial services and offer confidential information & advice on all issues affecting students across our four campuses.

Each of the four campuses Belfast, Coleraine, Jordanstown and Magee has a Students Union. Belfast – the Students Union is just off the main foyer. Coleraine – the Students Union is in the South Building and the offices are situated behind Paul’s Books. Jordanstown – The Students Union is in Block 11. 2 floors above the Sports Centre. How can i get involved with the Union?
There are loads of ways to get involved in your Union. - UFOURIA magazine. We’re always looking for contributions from students. You can write about anything. A film, album etc review, articles of student interest or if there is something you feel strongly about. It’s a great way of getting your work published. - Site Executive or Bar Executive. The Site Exec helps the Site Vice Presidents with the day to day running of the Union, whether its helping run a campaign or putting up posters the Site V.P and the VP Education & Welfare always need a helping hand. The Bar Exec helps the Site V.P with the running of the bar, helping to organise entertainment. - Class Representatives. By becoming a Class Rep you will be a key link between the Union and your class. The role of a class rep is to represent the views and opinions of students within your course. - Clubs & Societies. There are a wide range of clubs and societies on each campus. It’s a great way to meet new people and try new things.

How do i join a club or society?
All clubs and societies will be represented at the Freshers Fayers. You can have a walk around the various stalls and see what there is, if you’re interested in joining up just sign up at the stall. If throughout the year you decide you’d be interested in joining or setting up your own society, contact your Site V.Ps and they’ll help you out.
