Hey Everyone

I would like to take this opportunity to welcome all to the University of Ulster, whether you are a new or returning student. This year I have been elected as your new Vice President of Academic and Student Affairs for the Magee Campus.

The first and I think most important thing to say about the Students’ Union is that its sole purpose is to help and support you all in your time here at the University. We can support you through the tough times you are having, or maybe when you’re flying high and you want to improve the student experience for others around you. If there is anything affecting your student life you can come and see us.

There are many ways for you to get involved in the Union. You could join some of our clubs or societies, or if that doesn’t float your boat you could become a class rep, join the bar committee, volunteer in the union, the list goes on and on.

This year as your Student representative I promise to do my best with every one of your issues and have them dealt with as effectively as possible. I ask only one thing from all you students and that is to come and see me in my office or contact me in whatever way you can.
