All Ulster University students are members of the Students' Union (UUSU) and can avail of our services.

UUSU Sport

UUSU Sport is part of UUSU and coordinates over 70 sports clubs across the campuses offering a range of activities from archery to volleyball etc.  UUSU sport also offers an extensive social sport programme.
Advice Bureau
UUSU is an important part of the student support network at University.  The Union's Advice Bureau provides free, confidential advice and information on issues such as exam appeals, disciplinaries, fitness to practice appeals and housing issues.
Student Voice
UUSU represents the student population on all University committees, ensuring the student voice is heard; giving feedback on teaching and facilities. Our academic reps are the student voice at every level of the university.  Their role is to work with students and staff to create positive changes to the student experience.  By volunteering reps have the opportunity to be recognised and can win awards, all while adding to those transferable skills employers seek.
Societies are an integral part of the Students' Union and university life.  You can get involved in meeting new people, having fun and trying something new while gaining valuable experience, skills to enhance your CV.  Whether you are interested in comic books, debating, politics (and everything in-between), all Ulster students can join.
The UUSU Volunteering Centre supports students who want to lend a hand in their local community or Students' Union.
Volunteers may be passionate about social change, seeking to gain valuable experience, or just want to meet new friends and have fun.
You can also gain accreditation for your volunteering through the Ulster EDGE Award and Millennium Volunteers.
Enterprise Centre
The Enterprise Centre can help you on your start up journey whether you want to work for yourself, develop leadership skills, launch a product or start a social enterprise.  Our Enterprise team can help make your vision a reality.  Check out the Enterprise section for more info on funding, programmes, opportunities and the range of support services available for student entrepreneurs or email
