Have you heard of Jolabokaflod?

It's an Icelandic tradition which translates as "Christmas Book Flood" where people gift books to one another at Christmas time. We thought it was such a lovely idea and very climate friendly so we are bringing our very first Jolabokaflod event to UUSU this December.
We'll be flooding all three campuses with pre loved books for staff and students to gift or enjoy over the festive period. 

All our books have been lovingly wrapped by UUSU Volunteers and the best bit is you won't know what is inside untill the gift is opened. You'll just know the genre of the book - the rest is a surprise! 

All proceeds from the book sale will go to The British Red Cross, our charity of the year.
