Santander Enterprise Awards

Applications Now Open for 2019

 

Competition Summary 

The Santander Universities Entrepreneurship Awards launched in 2011. Since then, it has grown to be one of the UK’s largest student and graduate business pitching competitions. The competition rewards entrepreneurs by offering cash prizes, mentoring and start-up support and has so far given away more than £340,000 to start-ups and small businesses.

 

Categories  

Each year students and graduates from accross the UK apply to represent their University at these awards. Each University selects two student or graduate entrepreneurs to compete on their behalf at the regional finals. 

Stages

1. Apply to represent the University

For this stage, you will need to submit a Business Model Canvas. For help with this, click here and a 2 minute video.

Please submit your Business Model Canvas and Video to Chris Shannon at c.shannon@ulster.ac.uk by 14th of April.

4. Accelerator Week

5. Grand Finale

The two winning businesses will recieve:

  • £25,000 of equity-free seed funding
  • Mentoring from business experts
  • Access to the accelerator week
  • A fully funded intern
  • £500 digital growth voucher from Talent  Cupboard 
  • £15,000 of equity-free seed funding

  • £500 digital growth voucher from Talent  Cupboard 

 

Any student or graduate from Ulster University can avail of a full support package from UUSU Enterprise Centre if they wish to enter Santander Universities Entrepreneurship Awards 2019.
