The programme involves 4 elements:

Be More Active – classes to help you feel fit, healthy and more social, and open to all students and staff at Ulster University. Activities include, Walking Groups, Couch to 5Ks, Bootcamps;

Block Wars – for residential students only.  One-off tournaments in association with Residential Services. Activities include Football, Touch Rugby, Softball, Dodgeball and an Old School Sports Day;

#ActiveFitSporty – for female students and staff only. Funded by Department of Communities and Sport NI, this programme aims to get more female students and staff Active, Fit and Sporty. Classes and courses include Zumba, StreetFit, Walking Netball, Glow Fit (UV paint provided) and Self Defence.

Social Sport is easily accessible, delivered on each campus and provided at minimal cost to participants. The different elements of the programme offer something for everyone. They are delivered in a way that requires a very limited amount of time so that participation can be fitted around academic study and work commitments. Social Sport and Physical Activity enhances YOUR student experience at Ulster University.
