Reminder: You do not need prior experience to join any class or course within these two initiatives.


ACTIVE FIT SPORTY - a women's only initiative funded by Sport NI and Department for Communities. These classes/courses are free of charge to women students and staff at Ulster University but you must register your interest and attendance in advance. Please email for a registration form.

Yoga Monday 6pm to 7pm Sports Centre A class for that caters for all levels of experience.
Self Defence Wednesday 5pm to 7pm Fitness Suite A very popular activity boosting participants self confidence whilst working on fitness and strength
Bounce Fitness Wednesday  5.30pm to 6.30pm Sports Centre Fun, high energy, trampoline based fitness. Get a sweat up while bouncing around!
Netball Tuesday 5pm to 6pm Sports Hall Give netball a go while having fun and working up a sweat!
Basketball Tuesday 4pm to 5pm Sports Hall Have fun honing your dribbling skills on the court while getting a good workout!


BE MORE ACTIVE - this initiative is open to all students and staff at Ulster University. Membership to the initiative is £10.00 per academic year allowing you to attend as many of the classes/courses/leagues as you wish. In some cases, there will be an additional cost to allow for external coaching costs. Please email for a registration form.
