What is Unitu?

Unitu is an award-winning online platform that helps universities and student unions to collect and analyse student feedback in real time, and deliver faster improvements to the student experience.

Why we are using it?

Students can raise issues, suggest ideas, ask a question and give praise at anytime during the year through our web and mobile applications.  Course reps can easily gain unbiased and representative feedback that can immediately be escalated to the appropriate staff in a particular department or faculty.

How does it work?

With a click of a button, staff can instantly inform all relevant students on how they intend to act on their feedback through either a status update or by engaging in a real time discussion.

How do I access my Unitu account?

Access your Unitu account via ulster.unitu.co.uk using Single Sign-On (meaning there’s no need to create a new account).
You simply login to Unitu with your Ulster University credentials on your desktop or via the app!

Mandy Mulholland, Student Voice Manager

"The Unitu platform aims to compliment an established and valued student voice network at UU by providing a consistent approach to gathering collective student feedback."

Catherine Dynes, CEBE Faculty Rep

"Unitu is a simple platform which connects reps & students together without sending awkward emails. Your concerns can be voiced for general campus issues on a university public board but also course to school wide issues can be raised on the schools private board. With online learning being a part of every students learning experience, Unitu can connect reps & students together while enhancing the learning experience at Ulster."

Nicole Parkinson-Kelly, VP Education

"Unitu will streamline communication between academic reps and those they represent. It is a safe, monitored platform where constructive feedback, questions and conversations can be had to improve the student learning experience. I am excited to see our members engage more with their reps and to see student feedback continue to create change!"

Ulster University Student

"The anonymity of Unitu really encourages me to speak out about issues without feeling self-conscious or embarrassed, and it allows me to see how all my classmates feel in a setting I feel comfortable and supported in."
