The UUSU Advice Bureau provides independent, confidential and impartial advice for students on a range of academic and welfare issues.

Support with Course Issues 

Our team is here to help on a range of issues from identifying the correct form, to helping you submit evidence, to accompanying you to a panel for support. The Advice Bureau is here to guide you every step of the way.

Advice on University Disciplinary Procedures

If you have been notified of an issue, either academic or outside of your course, we can provide you with advice and guidance on the next steps in the procedure and be there to support you. 

Signposting and Guidance on Personal/ Welfare Matters

Our Advisors have a breadth of experience beyond academic issues and can help with a range of problems. The Advice Bureau has a network of external agencies at our disposal and we can refer you quickly and easily to an organisation best equipped to deal with your case. We also can signpost you to university services such as Student Wellbeing to help ensure your needs are met.
