UUSU is the officially recognised voice of students at UU and Student Voice sits firmly at the core of our organisation. It provides support and structure around our democratic processes, governance responsibilities and across each representation group, keeping members at the heart of everything we do. Led by the VP Education the team of staff, officers and volunteers make sure the collective opinion is heard across the University and wherever else it matters.

Representation To ensure student voice mechanisms at UU remains authentic and effective for such a diverse membership we have three key groups of elected full time and volunteer representatives: Student Officers, Student Council and Academic Reps.
Democracy UUSU is your Students' Union and as a democratic organisation we don't make decisions behind closed doors!
