Nosoc Study & Mentoring
Monday 02 March 2026
Magee Library MM119/MM123.
6:30pm - 8:30pm
Hi everyone!
We’re starting a weekly “Study & Mentoring Hub” through NOSoc, and you’re all invited.
🕖 When: Mondays 6:30–8:30pm (starting 2nd March)
📍 Where: 1st Floor Library – Study Rooms MM119 & MM123
How it’ll work:
We’ll have a WhatsApp group/Shared Space where you can post topics you’re finding difficult (e.g. cardiac physiology, ABGs, anatomy).
Each week, a volunteer will do short 10–15 min run‑throughs on those topics in the mentoring room at different times during the evening.
You can move between rooms depending on whether you want quiet study or to join the mentoring room. One of our team will help keep the study vibes focused and productive.
No man or woman left behind – the aim is to get everyone through together!
This week there’ll be a short intro session followed by study time; mentoring will start from 9th March based on topics suggested in the Shared Space, so bring work this week and feel free to ask anything you’re unsure about.
As space is limited to 24 students this week, please contact our Academic Development Officer, Heather, at 'broadley-h1@ulster.ac.uk' if you plan to attend, & let her know if your plans change so someone on the waitlist can join.
There’ll be pizza/refreshments at the intro session.
To help cover costs, please sign up for NOSoc if you can; a charitable donation (£1 minimum) is also welcomed in place of membership this week. Future sessions will continue to welcome small charitable donations.
