A spooktacular talk by Dr Andrew Sneddon on the unusual supernatural history of hair! 

Using objects, archival sources and folklore, Dr Andrew Sneddon will explore how hair has been used in, and associated with, magic in Ireland over the last few centuries: in witchcraft, magical healing, divination, protective magic, and cursing. Even its association with supernatural being such as the merrow and fairies will be covered.'
