Join Our Committees

Students’ Union Committees are groups within the Students’ Union that represent and advocate for student interests across various areas of university life. These committees are typically made up of elected student representatives and volunteers who work together to:

  • Voice the concerns and needs of the student body
  • Influence SU decisions and policies
  • Organize events, campaigns, and initiatives
  • Promote inclusion, wellbeing, and engagement across campus

The purpose of the UUSU events committee is key to ensuring that the views and opinions of the student body are at the heart of all the entertainment and activity delivered in your Students' Union.

The purpose of the UUSU Volunteering committee is to make a difference, build your skills, and connect with like-minded students all whilst running and supporting meaningful projects on and off campus.

The purpose of the UUSU Wellbeing Garden Committee is to guide the planning, planting, and care of a garden focused on relaxation, connection, and mental wellness which can be enjoyed by everyone on campus.
