Details
Support and Training
You will receive support from the relevant UUSU staff team, along with training relevant to the role.
This may include student engagement, feedback gathering, campaign support, elections awareness
activity and relevant UUSU systems and processes.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Support the delivery of student voice, campaigns and advocacy activity on your campus, including stalls, pop-up engagement, awareness activity and campaign events.
- Speak to students in a friendly, confident and proactive way about the issues affecting their university experience, and encourage them to get involved in UUSU campaigns, student voice opportunities and initiatives.
- Support the collection of feedback, participation trends and other student insight that can help inform student voice activity, campaigns and engagement approaches.
- Support the promotion and visibility of opportunities for students to share their views and get involved in shaping change, including elections awareness activity, nominations, awards and other student voice opportunities.
- Provide administrative and practical support for student voice processes and related activity, including preparing materials, supporting nominations or awards-related processes, assisting with setup, distributing resources and helping activity run smoothly on the day.
- Assist with “You Said, We Did” activity by helping gather examples, update displays or materials, and increase awareness of changes made in response to student feedback.
- Help create welcoming and inclusive opportunities for students to share their views, engage with key issues and take part in shaping student life.
- Work flexibly in line with campus priorities and support wider UUSU activity where required during particularly busy periods.
