- Provide an ear that will listen – While it might not seem like much, all too often people pretend to listen and then do not follow through with action. I will always take the time to listen no matter how big or small the issue may be. I will also ensure that where able your issues are addressed by subsequent action!
- Ask the hard questions – Just like with the UCU strike last year I will always ask questions even if I am the only one who gives them credence.
- A voice for YOU – I will always convey your wishes and will fight for the points that you raise with me!
- Integrity – I will never twist your words or go against your wishes. I will never seek to use your voice for my own gain and I will always respect your voice and how you wish me to use it.
- 24/7 Support – I will always be on call via email or at the Drop-ins. I want to hear from you about the good, the bad and the ugly. It is important to me that I am available for you to do so whenever and wherever you might be.
