If I had the opportunity to become a student rep for LLB Hons law FT Year 1, I would ensure that every student would have someone to talk to if they are unsure about a question or they are stuck writing an essay. I would also ensure that every student studying law or studying law with a combined degree would also have someone to talk to about other problems.
Having the opportunity to become a student rep would mean that I would help the university offer a wider variety of modules for students studying law or studying a law combined degree which are offered in both the Jordonstown campus and Queens University Belfast.
If I would become a student rep, I would organise day trips to a solicitor's or a barrister's law firm. This would give a law student an insight into the daily routine a solicitor or a barrister carries out.As a result, law students could ask questions to someone who has first-hand experience in the legal section.
