As a Course Representative for the full time Law with Criminology students and a School Representative for the School of Law, I have attended all the relevant meetings over both years of my degree and have been vocal about the issues which have been brought to me by the students. This has led to changes that have helped many students in the Law School. These were very often issues that the staff would not have been aware of otherwise. Having seen this first hand, it has demonstrated to me the seriousness but also the effectiveness of these positions and the role of the Students’ Union.
I have witnessed real change taking place within the university when students present the issues they face and how change can come about as a result.
If I am elected as the Law School Representative for Jordanstown once again, you can expect the same level of commitment and enthusiasm that I have consistently displayed in my role as both a Course and a current School Representative and I can assure the same level of dedication in order to further improve the entire student experience.
