Bake Sale - Friends of the Cancer Centre & DEC Fundraiser

Calling all staff and students.

Come along to our Valentine's Bake Sale in aid of the Friends for the Cancer Centre and DEC Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal.

UUSU's nominated charity for 22/23 is Friends of the Cancer Centre. This charity funds life-saving and life-changing projects that make a real and lasting difference to the lives of thousands of local people affected by cancer 

Staff and Students at Ulster can support Friends of the Cancer Centre by donating to fundraising appeals at https://www.justgiving.com/campaign/UUSU but also by getting involved in events and activities on campus which promote the charity, their work and their awareness campaigns. 

Cash donations can be made at the bake sale which will be donated to the DEC Turkey-Syria Earthquake Appeal. DEC charities and their local partners are among the first responders providing urgent help. Immediate priorities are search and rescue, medical treatment for the injured, shelter for those who have lost their homes, heating in safe spaces, blankets, warm clothes, and ensuring people have food and clean water.
