Should Euthanasia be legalised?

Tuesday 18 October 2022

Belfast Campus - Room TBC

7pm - 9pm

First in-person debate of the year, asking the question 'Should Euthanasia be legalised?'.

Currently, in Northern Ireland, Euthanasia is illegal and could be prosecuted as murder or manslaughter. 'Assisting or encouraging' another person's suicide is illegal under section 13 of the Criminal Justice (Northern Ireland) Act 1966, which extends the Suicide Act 1961 to Northern Ireland.

Do you agree with this?

Have your say on the 18th of October!

This debate will be in an open-panel style, in which people can speak as much or as little as they like.

As an added bonus, we will also be proidng free pizza for all who attend!
