#UBelong: Assisi Animal Sanctuary trip

Assisi Animal Sanctuary: 1 Old Bangor Road, Conlig, Newtownards BT23 7PU

9:15am - 3:30pm

As a part of our #UBelong campaign, we're working with Assisi Animal Sanctuary to offer students a chance to destress, do some good, and spend time with animals.

Students will meet in the BC Foyer at 9:15am on Thursday the 25th of May to be taken to the sanctuary. Travel will be provided by UUSU.

Upon arrival at the sanctuary there will be tea and an information session, and you will be assigned your tasks for the day. You are able to take a tea break and lunch when it suits you throughout the visit. You can go off-site for lunch or bring a packed lunch with you.

Once your allocated tasks are completed, there will be a tour of the sanctuary and the various units, then you can either spend time with the small animals, cats, or take one or two of the dogs out for a walk – or a mixture of all!

A full itinerary and safety breifing will be sent to you ahead of the trip taking place.
