The Aims of this Society include:

1.) To provide social interactions that allow students to enjoy the benefits that come with University life, other than the academics. This being the opportunity to make friends, interact with students on similar degrees as well as providing that relaxing time needed for good mental health.

2.) To assist with the academic side. We hope to create links to reading materials, relevant online news stories, articles, research papers alongside dates for assignments due. By having a society that also ranges to multiple, yet similar, degrees it can also benefit any research projects taking place if participants are required. Another way to help with the academic side is by providing wellbeing tips on handling work loads, revision tips and ideas

3.) To create a safe, comfortable and welcoming environment for all. Free from inequality, discrimination or unjust behaviour. Forms of such acts will not be tolerated. As a society all disclosures of such acts shall be heard and approached in line with Ulster University protocol.

Activities in which we aim to provide for the academic year of 2022/23:

1.) An end of year formal.

2.) Two seperate pub crawls, one taking place in each semester.

3.) Host a charity fundraiser, the charity will be chosen based on a poll conducted by the members of the society.

4.) Social gatherings based on what has been asked of by the members of the society.

5.) Three guest speakers over the academic year, focusing on career oppertunities, abroad placement and academic achievment.
