Welcome to Ulster University’s inaugural Neurology and Ophthalmology society 2022/2023!
We are passionate about the nervous system, eye, psychology and mental health. We are coming together to organise exciting events for UU students to promote interest in the fields of neurology and ophthalmology. NOSOC Aims • We aim to increase awareness about neurology and ophthalmology and abate any fears students have regarding these medical disciplines. • We plan to organise events to promote interest learning in both the fields of ophthalmology and neurology. • We aspire to provide interactive educational resources and information about both ophthalmology and neurology to supplement those provided in the curriculum. • We hope to be accessible to all students who encounter either neurology or ophthalmology as part of the training irrespective of an interest in pursuing either of these disciplines. This includes medical, optometry, physician associate, personalised medicine students.
