Volunteering

UUSU provide volunteering opportunities for all its members, empowering them to take up roles, develop their skills and to make a lasting contribution to the society around them by:

  • Offering engaging and exciting volunteering opportunities which will boost your employability skills and help you to have fun
  • Promote and support students to source local, national and international volunteering opportunities
  • Engage and support the local community

UUSU Volunteer Centre partner with Local, Regional and National Charitable and Not-for-Profit Organisations to offer volunteering opportunities. We also offer student-led projects and we are always wanting new and creative ideas for volunteering projects, so if you have one let us know.

You might ask – what do I get?

Not only do you get that “feel good factor” from helping your society but you’re improving your employability skills and can gain your Ulster University EDGE accreditation.
