Hi everyone!

We are Ulster University of Magee's Law Society! We are open to all students who are attending Magee University and in particular those who have an interest in the legal sector.

These are our aims for 2023/24!

Career Advice:

Our intentions this year are to run several events which will allow members to discover career paths associated with a law degree. We hope that these events will give members a better insight about the various career opportunities available to them. Our networking events planned will also give members a deeper understanding of law firms in Northern Ireland and a chance to make conections within the sector. 

Deadlines:

Make sure to follow us on all of our social media platforms to stay updated on career opportunites and events. Some of these include insight programmes, volunteering and highly sought-after training contracts. We will also be keeping the 3rd years up to date on all things Instatute. 

Events:

We are very excited about the events that we have planned this year! Pub crawls, pizza nights, guest speakers and coffee mornings to mention a few! Our commitee this year really wanted to prioritise social events to encourage students of all year groups to get talking!

Our annual Law Ball is our biggest social event - a night of great craic!

But if thats not your thing, don't worry we have lots of other things planed too.
