Welcome to the Ulster University Law society for Belfast!
Our aim for this academic year is to guarantee that you are making the absolute most out of your student experience!
We intend to host a variety of events for the Law Society members during this academic year to promote a healthy work / life balance. This will include our Quiz nights, Charity and Wellbeing Events, Formal, Pub Crawl and many more!
We in the Society recognise the importance of building a Legal CV, as well as allowing students to find out what career path suits them. We will be holding our very successful Employer Networking Events and Careers Events in conjunction with the School of Law and will be continuously promoting the range of career opportunities available to students on our socials. This will include talks hosted by Law Firms in Belfast, solicitors and barristers aswell as career specialists in other fields. Attending these talks and careers events have proved very helpful when it comes to deciding where you want to be after your time at Ulster!
As always, be will be hosting our annual Law tour around either a firm in Belfast or around various firms. This tour gives students the chance to have direct conversations with leading professionals in the legal sphere. We will show you some of the Top firms in Belfast, with each firm showing you what they have to offer. Be sure to use this opportunity to gain connections within Law!

The law society formal is a must for students in the society. Having proved a massive success year after year, this event is what students look forward to the most. Enjoy the luxury of a fresh, crisp suit ( or dress) and dine in one of the most luxurious hotels in Belfast! After, we will bring you on a night out which you will remember fondly after your time at the University.
