Hello! What a year it has been! Not just for the Officer Team and UUSU but for all our students. Our Impact Report is a snapshot
of our achievements as a student movement over this academic year!
Your Police Service recognises that the disgraceful events of recent days are a great concern.
You have our support. We are doing everything we can to prevent the disorder and bring those responsible to justice.
Police officers will be on patrol right across Northern Ireland. We are here to keep you safe and to prevent attacks from taking place.
Congratulations to those recognised at the recent UUSU Learning & Teaching Awards! It was a fantastic evening at the Ebrington Hotel, Derry~Londonderry celebrating our outstanding staff and academic reps supporting the student journey at UU.
We are over the moon to have won four awards in the Student Achievement Awards Ireland organised by AMLÉ – Aontas na Mac Léinn in Éirinn.
These awards are the annual opportunity for the student movement in Ireland to recognise the outstanding work of students and celebrate their contributions to the experience of their fellow students, and to wider society.
Child Health Society held their second Teddy Bear Hospital recently at the Waterside shared village in Derry/Londonderry. The student society partnered up with the Altnagelvin parents group and Western Health and Social trust. The day was a massive success with two groups of children arriving with their 'sick' teddy bears to help them get better at the hospital.
The 2025 SU Awards were held recently to recognise & celebrate those students who contribute so much of their time, energy and expertise to improving the student experience. Congratulations to all the winners! Ticket sales for SU Awards raised £245 towards Women in Aid!
