  • Supporting students through the process of campus transition.

Student representatives have been contributing to the development of a new chapter for your student and campus experience at Ulster University through the mechanism of a Student Panel.

The Student Panel comprises student representation from across all University campuses and levels of study, and UUSU’s elected student officers.

The Panel have been actively articulating the student perspective and considerations and are helping guide and shape the introduction of other complementary initiatives that will contribute to creating vibrant campus communities in areas such as:

Travel and transport

The University will be introducing initiatives to support sustainable travel and transport choices for students and will also be promoting stress-free access to public transport and ensuring campuses are accessible to all.

Timetabling and space activation

Timetabling is the academic heartbeat across our campuses and seeks to ensure the best use of all academic teaching spaces.

You will soon be able to receive an easily accessible personalised digital timetable that will send reminders and notifications  via your mobile device.

Staff experience

University staff are being equipped to provide the information and guidance you need to support your transition and will also have access to state-of-the-art technology, tools and facilities to support your learning and research at our new Belfast campus.

Digitisation

The University will be making it easier for you to access information and update your University records online through greater use of digital forms and streamlined processes.

By moving to digital processes, the University will be reducing the volume of printed materials on campuses and as a result, our impact on the environment.
