Meet your Faculty & School Reps 22/23

We are delighted to welcome the Student Voice Faculty & Schools Reps 22/23.

Guided by our UU/UUSU Student Voice Framework, elected student reps represent the collective student opinion on everything impacting on your learning experience. Reps meet with staff, sit on committees and communicate widely to feedback on the learning experiences at Ulster, which helps to extend student opinion beyond surveys.

Lauren Caughey, our Life & Health Science Faculty Rep said

“Hi everyone! My name is Lauren and I will be the Faculty Representative for Life and Health Sciences this year.

While this incoming year will be exciting with a full return to campus, I understand that this may bring with it anxiety for most. This may be at the thought of returning to in-person learning and examinations, or moving to a new campus away from the one you felt comfortable in. Whatever your concerns are this year, myself and my faculty of school reps are here to help you! So please get in touch!

I’m excited to see what this year has in store and look forward to working with you all to improve student life at UU! I wish you all a very successful and exciting start to term and look forward to meeting you soon!”

Chloe Brown, our School Rep for Psychology said

“I'm excited to be the new school of psychology rep for this academic year. I have been involved in being course rep in my second year of my degree so I can't wait to put all my skills from last year to good use this year to help enhance the quality of education for all students within psychology. My goal for this year is to improve the communication between staff and students and improve relationship building between them as well. I look forward to representing all in psychology this year and please don't hesitate to get in touch with me.”
