Student Sport Ireland Women's Student Coaching Academy

Team UU is excited to unveil our panel of students recruited to Student Sport Ireland Women's Student Coaching Academy for 2023-24. 

Established in 2021, the Women's Student Coaching Academy seeks to enable women students to develop and reach their coaching potential. It also aims to increase the number and visibility of women coaches in third level institutions, as well as creating women role models.

Now in our third year of involvement with the academy, Team UU has nine students from Ulster University Faculty of Life and Health Sciences committing to student sport across athletics, basketball, football, Gaelic football, rowing and rugby. Each is assigned a mentor, undertakes a coaching qualification, gains networking opportunities, and access to additional learning and development.
