Congratulations to Taylor McComb who was awarded the Excellence in Student Representation award at the recent Learning and Teaching awards in the City Hotel.
Taylor is an award winning, second year Biology student based on the University’s Coleraine campus. This year she has had the opportunity to represent her class as Course Rep for BSc (Hons) Biology. She feels privileged to have carried out this vital role, allowing a connection between the university and its students. Taylor has worked with the members of staff in her course to successfully improve both student safety and the lived experience throughout the year. She has been recognised on the Dean’s List for her academic achievements and is currently completing the Ulster EDGE Award. Outside of university, Taylor is heavily involved in her church, performing many leadership roles and has a passion for sport, specifically figure skating. She is keen to make the most of her university experience, and also contribute to that of her peers.
