Whether you’ve never stood on a surfboard in your life or already know your way around a wave, come join us for an afternoon of surfing, questionable balance and well-earned refreshments afterwards. 🌊🤙

🏄 3 hours of surfing

🏄♂️ Surf lesson — ideal if your current technique is fall in and hope for the best
🏄 Board hire — probably essential
🥽 Wetsuit + boots — because this is Portrush, not Portugal
🚿 Hot showers afterwards — arguably the most important inclusion
🍻 Portrush Yacht Club afterwards with member-price drinks
🔥 And apparently they might even light the fire for us — what luxury.
🚆 The USMOS Surf Express
No designated drivers required.
We’ll be getting the train together from Derry/Londonderry → Portrush, then heading back by train afterwards.
Train times, meeting point and the rest of the logistics will be sent out closer to the day. 🚆

🏄 Tickets are initially only available to those who expressed interest in the medicine year group chats.
🎟️ If you responded, you’ll receive a ticket link. You’ll have 24 hours to claim your spot before we pass it on to someone on the waiting list. Sorry the waves wait for no one. 🌊
📝 Once you’ve bought your ticket, please complete ALL the requested attendee information, including your emergency contact details and also if you will be travelling on the train or making your own way there.
