Who are we, and what do we do?

Dear Reader, Welcome to the mindfulness society of Coleraine.
 
Joining a society is an excellent way to have fun and meet others that share your interests!
Maybe you know us already, or maybe you're new? Read on to find out more and remember to FOLLOW OUR SOCIALS!
Mindfulness is a skill and exercise of being here in the present moment without judgment. But unfortunately, most of us feel disconnected from what is happening within our bodies.
We seek to support you in the following areas: -
·        To become more self-aware
·        feeling calmer and less stressed,
·        choose how to respond to your thoughts and feelings.
·        coping with challenging or unwanted perceptions, 
·        Be kind to yourself. 

Mindfulness, yoga, and meditation are at the heart of what we do, so even if you are a beginner, we would be more than glad to have you on board! We will help look after your mind and body.
It does not matter what year you are in (first, second, or third year, undergraduate or postgraduate). This is a platform where all students from every walk of life can connect in a safe space to chat about their worries and anxieties to help ease the process.
