A little bit about Hazaar, the world's first student marketplace
Hazaar was created by students, for students with the aim of making sustainable shopping more accessible. Hazaar are dedicated to helping students support a circular economy & reducing unnecessary wastage at universities. Hazaar is an app that provides a platform to re-home unwanted goods without the environmental impact (and the faff) of delivery and postage.
What can you do with the Hazaar app?
Once you have signed up using your UU email address you will be able to buy and sell through the app or start up your very own secondhand / handmade business.
When you buy or sell you will meet up at a safe space on campus to exchange goods, no postage required. There will also be exciting Hazaar pop up markets on campus throughout the year for in person buying and selling!
We are delightd to be celebrating our partnership with Hazaar with our first in person pop-up market on the 16th of November at BC Block.
